It worked for 2 months and then broke. Its going to take over a month for the service tech (required to be licensed by Speed Queen) to get to my home to fix it. We bought this because it was supposed to last forever.

I love my new washer! It is super quiet and the wash time is just over a half hour; which is MUCH shorter than my old front load washer and dryer. I have two children (ages 3 and 5) who obviously can't seem to eat or play without getting dirty. The washer is great at getting the stains out of their clothes!!! The 7 year warranty is an added bonus.

I battled with my "water-saver" washer for 3 years, standing by the machine with a bucket to add enough water to wet the load, but now I'm smiling ! My Speed Queen washer has answered my prayers. My clothes are cleaner and smell fresher and I'm so happy !

Owned for less than year. Part has gone out and not sure when I will get. They say back ordered. Ask for new washer. Not part of warranty they say... paid a lot for both. Thinking I was buying the best.

Hasn't worked from day 1.

The machine is 2 weeks old and has never finished a cycle. It constantly throws out error code Ub and stops.

I love my new washer and dryer! I was dreading doing laundry before. It seemed to take hours. But now, the washer does a great job only taking 40 mins to wash a large load. Dryer takes about the same! Can't believe how much quicker I'm able to get all of my laundry finished up! It's awesome! And the funky smell my clothes had before from my front load washer is gone. Love it, love it, love it!!!

Not the Quality Expected

I had multiple recommendations to get a speed queen when searching for a new washer and dryer, to say I’ve been sorely disappointed is an understatement. As the mom of 3 young kids and wife of a husband in construction, I need a washer and dryer that can stand up to them. My husbands jeans regularly come out with dirt and whatnot still on them even after 1-2 times through a regular cycle, or the special denim cycle or the special heavy soil cycle. My toddlers clothes often come out with spots still on them and sometimes even new spots. I’ve contacted speed queen multiple times who always put it out to techs in my areas. I’ve had several techs come out to my home and while I’m no longer having to run the same load 3-4 times before it’s ok enough to move over to the dryer, the quality of the wash is still leaving a lot to be desired. I really dislike having to wash a load of laundry and then thoroughly check it before being able to move it over to the dryer to make sure it’s clean enough to do so. More often than not I end up running most loads of clothes twice. Double the work for clothes that I still don’t feel are entirely clean. At this point I feel like service techs are just writing me off and am sorry I spent the money on this washer and dryer. The agitator doesn’t even actually move, it’s fixed to the basket so doesn’t seem to be much help either.
