Really enjoying the washer and dryer. So fast. I had a large stubborn stain on some sheets, washed and dried it once, didn't come out. Tried again with the awesome soak setting and bleach and I couldn't find it! Voila! If you just want the clothes to be "done" you can run clothes through very quickly, but to really get heavy soils or smells, use that soak option, it's great! I also love the handwash setting for special delicates.

Thank goodness my clothes are clean again !!
My “ old” only 5 years old , high efficiency , no center agitator washer died an unexpected death and I said no more of this type washer.
I searched online and rediscovered my mother’s old , all time favorite , Speed Queen! Very high ratings and a 7 year warranty!

After researching I found that many of my friends and family have had numerous problems with their HE machines. Top problems were clothes did not smell clean and bad smells and mechanical problems with machines. My sister in law had her sister come stay and the husband asked her to teach his wife to do laundry as his laundry does not smell like hers. After several HE washers in just a few years she went to Speedqueen as did many in our family. The most important reason came from Grandma, who told family over and over that the HE washers were not cleaning the clothes. She did not think they were smelling clean. Grandma knows best.
