The clothes appear to be nicely cleaned after each use. I do add an extra rinse often to be sure. Wish the soap had an automated dispenser. The clothes are twisted upon removing after washing. Not sure, but I don't believe if you pause the washer you can unlock the lid should you wish to move items around.

I've only had it for a short time now, but have used it often. Very quiet machine with a very good spin cycle. Clothes come out almost dry witch allows for a shorter dryer time.

I was a bit hesitant to consider the Speed Queen but once I did my research it was perfect for me. I love my new set. I purchased the matching washer and dryer. It has put the fun back in laundry. The tub size is more than adequate on both washer an dryer. The time to run cycles is considerably less. So happy I purchased and especially happy it is made in the USA. Great warranty, great customer service. I will never purchase another brand however this one will most likely outlive me.
