I am very glad we chose this Speed Queen washing machine. There are many options out there. We were sad to see the agitator we were so used to is no longer available. Per our salesman, most options allow you to fill the tub only half-way. If filled more and a problem arises, the warranty would be voided. We chose this Speed Queen because we did NOT want to double the number of loads we do each week. We do pay more for this feature, but time is money. In this case, it is money well spent. We are able to fill this machine as we would our old one, to the top. It has given us very good results. Clothes are cleaned in a short amount of time.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Speed Queen Washer and Dryer set! Our old washer started throwing grease after a decade or so, so we decided to replace both the washer and dryer a few months ago. I looked at the big home improvement stores, then at a local appliance store that has been in town for a long time. I wanted a large capacity washer, and this has one, but the tub isn't so deep that I can't reach the bottom (like some of the washers in the home improvement stores). I wanted a delay start, and this has it! It's not too loud, and the cycles aren't too long. The 10 year warranty makes the price just about what some of the mid-priced washers (plus a purchased warranty) are in the big stores. I'm so pleased!
