Has all the cycles I like to use and then some! Really like the special cycles. Clothes seem cleaner. Only big complaint, the buzzer signaling load done too quiet. I have to set the timer on my stove. Real pain! Why can’t it be the volume controlled nice loud buzzer like the dryer ?? If anyone lives in a multi storied home or has any type of hearing deficit, this is not the product for you.

I am going to compare this washing machine to our previous GE Front-Loader. The Maytag finishes the wash cycle much faster than the GE did. We don't deal with much soil on our clothes so I really cannot comment on how well this machine or any other machine does on tough stains. For what we deal with this washer does the job. The Maytag is quieter in the spin cycle and and doesn't wobble like the front loader did. The only advantage I would give the front loader would be that it spun the clothes drier than the Maytag does. This may just be the way the 2 machines are designed though, not sure and the Maytag gets the clothes dry enough. Bottom line I much prefer the Maytag over the GE front loading washing machine. Time will tell how durable this Maytag turns out to be. Hopefully it live up to its reputation.

So far I like it. However, the installation instructions say to vent the dryer with a hard PVC pipe and the installers used the cheap, flimsy foil one. When I called them they said it was fine. For what I paid for these I think they should have followed the installation instructions. Would not buy another one due to this.

We're so happy to hear you're enjoying your new washing machine! We do recommend that our dryer's are installed with rigid or semi-ridig metal ductwork for adequate ventilation. The flexible foil venting material is known to collapse or be crushed easily as well as being more likley to trap lint. All of which could inhibit the drying performance due to constricting the airflow. If there are any questions or concerns we can help you with for your new laundry set, don't hesitate to let us know! We're here if you need us at 800-552-5475, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4pm Central Standard Time).
