Worst consumer experience

Washer bangs off and on throughout the cycles, and the stainless steel on the dryer etched when the clothes were in the bottom.

Worst Washing Machine I’ve Ever Bought

All my clothes have huge gray stains! Constantly errors out. Doesn’t clean clothes very well when it does run. The worst washing machine I’ve ever bought. Big mistake buying this one.

Best product on the market, made to last and dependable, I'm totally satisfied. I was 10 years old when I was taught to wash clothes back in the early 60's it was on a Speed Queen wringer/washer. I recommend this washer above any other I have ever purchased.I don't need anything fancy with all the Bells and Whistles, just something that gets the job done right the first time. I have full confidence this washer will last me a long time perhaps I can pass it on to my granddaughter.

I REGRET this purchase everyday

Had another washing machine (GE) that was also a top loader with an agitator. After about 3.5 years it stopped spinning out anything more than a small load. Purchased this model because I was advised by “professionals” that this was the top of the line company with the top of line washing machine with the top of the line warranties. I was so trusting…but it was a mistake. This machine has been nothing but trouble since the moment the installers turned it on. I now have to get a plumber to redo plumbing because the machine can’t pump upwards since it’s located in my basement and though I understand that can be a legitimate problem I don’t understand how my other machine was able pump upwards for years before we had an issue. This machine shaked so much I thought I had a defective model but was told by the warranty techs to get shock absorber annd not mount it on anything. Honestly it still sounded terrible when we took it off the pallet it was on but then again the plumbing could be the issue….I know have to invest in more time and resources in hopes that it will resolve the issue or prove that I’m not crazy and this machine is a lemon. Also, the agitation on a heavy cycle is anything but heavy. I have to use waaaay too much detergent just to get the clothes to smell clean and the clothes just barely seem spun out. Worst of all, though I was told the tub is a bit smaller but can handle a large load just probably not a king comforter, it in fact cannot handle ONE full hamper of clothing. With the amount of laundry my family produces one hamper or laundry bag has to be spread across two loads. And again they don’t even smell clean after going through a heavy duty cycle and the touch screen is not immediately responsive. I have to press start often plus the lid locks during fill up. Despite all the “options” on this model the only one I really can use that mirrors a “normal” cycle is the heavy duty cycle as the others require an add on rinse because it saves water without it, so if I want that I have to deal with an increased wash time that’s well over an hour- and I do not have time for that. One hamper will be more like 3 hours of washing plus the drying time- this machine is an absolute joke. Adding insult to injury this headache cost me over $1500! And it will cost me more because of the other steps I have to go through to prevent my so-called warranty from not being compromised or for proving there is something wrong with this machine other than my plumbing. What a catastrophic let down that I am stuck with because the vendor would not allow a return.

In regards to your wash results, we have pulled this information from the user manual, which is also attached for you to refer back to at any given time.
• Load larger and heavier items first so they are at the bottom of the washtub.
• Load items by the amount of space they take up, not by
their weight.
• Mix large and small items in a load to get the best washing
results. For example, don't wash a single large item such as
a throw rug. Add several smaller items to avoid an out-ofbalance condition.
• An out-of-balance load may limit spin speeds.
• The left decimal point on the display may blink on/off at
the end of a cycle if the load did not reach maximum
speed. This can indicate an unbalanced load

I have been impressed with this machine. It came guaranteed for 25 years. It has been used for several loads of clothes since its arrival. It has gotten stains out of clothes that the previous machine did not. It has a quiet operation. The ability to put detergent in before the soak cycle length is selected is a plus. The unit going directly from the soak cycle duration into the wash cycle is another plus. Clothes come out immaculate. Quality has been built into the unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Service problems

The machine wouldn't start because of a doorlock issue. Service was sought, but due to problems at the store, it wasn't timely. A new doorlock sensor is to be installed, although I have heard nothing from the store for over a week.

What a washing machine should be

It washes your clothes and spins them the way it is supposed to. I think that this is how a wash machine is supposed to work but it doesn’t seem like most washing machines work appropriately anymore these days. If you want a proper washing machine that just washes your clothes and doesn’t look like something that’s trying to look like it was from the Jetsons then you should probably buy this washing machine.
