We love that the washer is made in America and has such an unbeatable warranty that even includes the electronics. The special preset cycles make a noticeable difference on all the fabric types. Our clothes take less time in the dryer and come out looking brighter.

We had it a month and the latch broke. Wouldn’t do anything. Still haven’t heard from the warranty company on the part and it’s been a 3 weeks. So upsetting spending that much and one month having issues. The fabric softener also was still goopy in the bottom after I diluted it and tried different wash settings. Had to re wash clothes multiple times.

You have to program the machine with Heavy Load or 2x rinse - if you don't the fabric softener just lays at the bottom of the washing machine after the wash is complete. Also, the clothes are just so-so clean :(

So pleased with my Speed Queen washer! The water level is much higher than most washers nowdays, that is a big plus for me. The Speed Queen gets my clothes cleaner than my last washer that had the low agitator and not nearly enough water to get the clothes clean and if I washed a blanket it would be full of lint. My Speed Queen is much more quiet when washing and the spin cycle is so quiet that I can hardly tell that it's working. But it does an amazing job, some of my items feel dry as soon as I take them out of the washer. I washed a blanket yesterday and it came out lint free and clean. The price was more than I wanted to pay for a washer but I have no regrets. I don't understand why all washers are not made this well. Speed Queen is made like the washers of 25 years ago, except with electronics that I hope will last beyond the 7year warranty.

Issues with Drum

During spin cycle, the machine makes real loud noise and jumps away from the wall. Doesn't matter if full with clothes or small amount of clothes.

Not a Huge Fan

It doesn’t seem to wash that well, and we often had soap still on clothing (didn’t have that problem with our old front loader). We cut back on the soap, which helped. It also spins so hard that our clothes come out much more wrinkled than our previous front loader. That prevents me from being able to hang up clothes that I don’t want to put in the dryer.
