This machine is so quiet I find myself checking it to see if it is running. Washes well and is loaded with features. The dealer was very aware of the machines features and provided fast delivery from stock. I am glad they don't sell these in big box stores. Time will tell on this machine but with a 10 year warranty we have peace of mind. When we need a dryer guess what we will be getting?

While we have only used our Speed Queen washer a few times, We like it very much. The fact that we have heard so many testimonials from friends and dealers about the quality of Speed Queen greatly influenced our decision to buy. In addition, the 10 year warranty was icing on the cake!

For the most part, I love my washer. It does an excellent job cleaning my clothes. I have two negatives however. First, if I don’t have the light on over the washer, once I press the on button, the blue lights make it difficult to read the settings. To compensate I am learning the locations of each button. It’s either that or turn on the light, which isn’t always necessary. Secondly, I like to use oxyclean on my whites which requires me to add it to the water and agitate a bit before adding clothes. I prefer to use the auto fill feature but when adding a laundry boost I change my settings to the smallest load size then have to remember to go back and a few minutes and shut it off. Then I wait for the lid lock to release so I can add clothes. It’s not a big deal but causes me extra steps. I’m not sure why a top loading washer needs a lid lock. It would be nicer if that was an option. I’m not sorry I made this choice in washers but just know there could he extra steps in what should be a pretty straight forward operation

I am disappointed. My new white sheets kept getting gray marks on them From the dryer. The place I bought it from replaced parts so that would stop happening. Lint gets on the clothes because there’s not a cover on the lint holder like the Speed queen dryer my mom has. The instruction books I ordered never came for either machine.
