I love this washer. I'm impressed with the many options available on the control panel. Clothes come out very clean. It's also very quiet.

The best washer I’ve ever owned.

My house came with a fancy front load, and I hated it since the beginning. It didn’t feel clean. There was no water. Well it finally died and I was actually happy because I replaced it with a Speed Queen. I ran to the dealer in town the next day and said I know what I want! The TR7 and DR7 set! My clothes have never been cleaner. Even washing the previous “clean” clothes from my other washer, the water was murky, so they were never truly clean. Now the hot water is truly hot. The clothes are cleaner than ever. And I don’t spend so much time doing silly small loads like I used to, I can get all my towels done in one load with one rinse unlike my old front load which took all day Saturday and Sunday.
The quality is exceptional. I just wish speed Queen made other appliances too!!!!

Sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know. I can’t believe how much cleaner my clothes are with this Speed Queen. And they are not getting beat up! Love all the options too.

Great machine

Excellent machine very versatile and quiet . Replaced a Speed Queen I had for many, many years and never had a single repair. Due to age of machine parts were no longer available and I had to purchase a new machine. Hope this machine is as good as the one I replaced.

This is smaller load capacity than we were used to. It also seems to leave detergent “grease” marks. We have been trying to wash smaller loads and less soap. So far not quite what I expected with all of the hype.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your feedback and value your concerns.
Please make sure you are putting the detergent into the tub and not on top of the agitator which is for fabric softener only.
We find the best way to start your laundry is to open the lid, pour the detergent in the bottom of the tub, close the lid and start your cycle. This action will start the water coming in so that the detergent chemicals get released in the water. You only need to do this for 30-60 seconds to be effective. Then you can lift the lid and load your clothing.

We absolutely love our new washer! It fills with water to completely cover the clothing instead of simply wetting it then beating it to death like other new washers do. We returned a brand new so-called “deep fill” Maytag for this reason. It’s fast, quiet, cleans very well, spins out the water effectively and doesn’t wear out our clothes. The only drawback for us is the smaller capacity, specifically that it can’t wash a king sized comforter. I was told not to even try it, so I have not. Otherwise, it’s a great machine!
