Nothing But Trouble

I love how this washer works when it isn't giving me trouble. I've only had it for about 2 months and have had problems with it giving an unbalanced error message and another error message about lifting the door to add clothes although it let me do it. Today, it leaked. I am over this nonsense. I paid too much to have to go through this. To top it off, when I called about 5 places to service the washer, "We don't service your area." is what they ALL said. Stay away and buy a Maytag instead. I had one and swapped it out. Worst mistake ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love doing laundry now!

My old washer died and I did a considerable amount of online research. One name kept popping up as one of the best: Speed Queen. I really enjoy using my new washer and dryer. It makes doing laundry easy.

Really love the speed queen. This is my first to own. Only complaint I have is it leaves fabric softener residue in the bottom of the washer and sometimes gets on the clean clothes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We appreciate your feedback, here are a few recommendations that may help you with the fabric softener concerns.
Please be sure you are following the below guidelines when using fabric softener to ensure proper dispensing:
1. Pour the manufacturers recommend amount of softener into the dispenser at the top of the agitator and dilute with water to the fill line.
2. Make sure the Extra Rinse option is enabled if using the Normal Eco cycle. The Normal Eco cycle only has a spray rinse, not a full tub rinse. So the Extra Rinse option is necessary if using this cycle to completely rinse the softener out.
3. Make sure the softener slots in the agitator are clean and free of debris.
4. Make sure the fabric softener dispenser is clean and free of debris.
If you are following the above and still experiencing issues please reach out to your dealer to setup a service call. Or you can find a list of authorized service companies on our website here: https://speedqueen.com/support/find-service/

Love the 7-year warranty!

I’ve only been using this machine for about 2 months but am pleased so far. It means a lot that this is a product of the USA and is built with 25ish years of residential use planned into it when it was manufactured. My friends have told me horror stories about their expensive, Asian brand washers. Seems like this machine is worth the price, not to mention the irritation of breakdowns and repair visits. I’m optimistic about this machine.
