Best washer we've ever purchased!

Being married for 35 years, and having raised three boys, we've purchased four washing machines. I used this same model while visiting family in 2018 and told my husband when we need to replace our machine, I want a Speed Queen! This Speed Queen is the absolute best of the four we've used! I love all of the wash options, and I truly believe our clothes are coming out cleaner.

Be Careful! Go Further Than a Simple Google Search

This is our second TR7 series washer in matter of 3 months. Our first unit went out in the first month of ownership... It had a bad electrical board and we had substanial squealing sounds within the last 4mins of the spin cycle. The dealer we purchased the unit from replaced it. Within the first month, the second new unit started making the same loud squealing noise during the last 4min of the spin cycle. If you search "Speed Queen TR7 squealing" you will find a Reddit thread and TikTok videos of consumers with the same issues we have had. This has been a nightmare. Worst appliance purchase we've made. We were so excited because of the Speed Queen name, but it's been a major let down. We are still having issues and are having no luck with Speed Queen service providers. If I were to do it again, I would likely not buy Speed Queen or I would buy something in the TC series.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was very disappointed in my purchase. This is my first purchase of speedqueen, as I always purchased GE, but the appliance store talked me out of it. I do not like spin cycle on it and my clothes are often left wet. I would personally love to have someone from the actual company show me how to use it.

t hadn't heard of Spped Queen until I went online to research what washing machine to get. I wanted the most reliable machine I could find. At first I was tempted by some of the pretty machines by other brands but once I saw the TR7000, (I hope I have the number right. I bought the 2018 top of the line top loader with the electronic controls), in person, it looked beautiful too. IT has a seven year warranty. I've had it for two months and it cleans clothes perfectly.

Stop looking now! You will not find a better washing machine on the market. While there may be machines that appear to hold more clothes, Have fancy Wi-Fi access or other supposed state of the art electronics, you will not find a machine that’s a workhorse like the speed queen brand. Period. End of story. Looking for a machine that will last you 20 years? Stop looking! This product is the absolute best on the market. If you don’t believe my review go ahead and buy that “other brand“. Good luck with your 5 to 7 year machine that won’t take the abuse that a speed queen does! Rock on speed queen!

After three new washing machines broke down in the last 14 years, we decided to buy a Speed Queen. It has a sturdy drum, unlike the other models; washes loads quickly and efficiently, unlike the other models; does not get off balance when loaded appropriately, unlike the other models; and when you ask for hot water it is hot, unlike the other models. What it doesn't have is music or a bell to let you know the load is done - not much of a concern when the clothes come out clean.
