Finally after 5 months a washer that works

I am in love with the final washer I now have. It took me months to get a washer that truly works. I purchased the model below this one and immediately had to have it repaired. Three different companies were involved in helping me get a washer that actually works. It was finally decided that it was a design flaw in the machine and 90% of that model have or will have trouble. I finally rec'd a refund but had to have the washer removed from my residence myself. I was told to put it out on the curb and someone would take it. RIGHT!!!!!!!!. I do not live in that type of neighborhood, three are strict rules here. So now I have no washer but a dryer. Since I ordered both a washer and a dryer I no longer had a matching set. SOOOOOOOOOOO I sold a brand new dryer less than 2 months old for 1/2 price. I purchased the next model up (a matching set) at more cost than I wanted to pay. Finally after 5 months I have a washer and dryer that work (let's not talk about the inconvenience of using other friends washer/dryer or washing items out in the sink.). I was told to go to a laundromat. Would you want to go to the HOOD in Baltimore to do your laundry? Maybe one of the problems I experienced was NO instruction manual was included in the machines when purchased them. It took 6 to 8 months to receive a manual from the company. I did not want to print a copy from the internet Would you want to print unnecessarily 78 pages in different languages to see how to work the machines you just spent close to $2000.00 on.

I was looking for a good washing machine for a-couple of months. I had not heard of speed queen, but I review the product and read many good reviews on the brand compare to the ones on the market. I wasn’t expecting to spend as much as I did on this machine, but like they say you get what you pay for. I am so happy I bought it. I wash like twice a week and the first time I used it I checked a couple of times, it’s that quiet. I would recommend speed queen to anyone over the other brands on the market.

After my five year old washer and dryer started having issues, I asked my appliance repairman what brand he recommended. He said he and his family members all owned Speed Queens!

A Superb Washing Machine

Did our homework, very extensive online and in-store research before buying this machine. Unlike the multitude of trash big box store high efficiency washing machines, with huge capacity drums which never fill, on the market which we have owned which basically "dry" clean(don't clean} your clothes,Speed Queen is the only machine that actually "washes" clothes. We are an extremely active outdoor family in the South. We needed a machine that removed dirt and severe body odor without destroying my wife's bras or the bedsheet elastic corners on the agitator. For really dirty clothes, we spot treat only when needed, use the adjustable soak cycle or pre-wash, a measured small amount of detergent and the clothes come out perfectly. Really nice to have clothes that smell fresh again with the TR7. Capacity is big enough for washing our King size sheets and pillowcases, 6 large towels at once or a King sized duvet. The only annoying feature is the lid lock, which we wish would allow you to lift the lid quickly, when needed, of course before the spin cycle. When our patience runs out, we hate to have to use You Tube tricks to disable this. We also wish the agitation were just a tiny bit more aggressive but not like the TC5.
