Noisier than expected

Replaced my Electrolux front loader with a Speed Queen top loader. Works well once we found out it needed a special “kit” for the outlet. Still noisier than I expected.

Highly disappointed!!

Ever since we received the washer and dryer, we have had problems. The washer leaves white marks all over black clothing and the dryer doesn’t completely dry anything the first time around. I want my old Samsung washer and dryer set back! They were more reliable at 9 years old than what these new Speed Queens are!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well, but very noisy

This washing machine probably cost more than all of the other washers we have ever bought put together. We bought the top-of-the-line digital control model. It works well, but every time the water shuts off during a rinse cycle or fill cycle, there is a loud clunk noise that we can hear all through the house. A service tech came out to look at it and told us it was the valve in the washer that shut off so hard it sent loud clinking noises through the water pipes in the house. Obviously, this is a poor design that needs to be fixed. We have never had a washing machine that made any noise like that. I am beginning to wish we had bought one that was much less expensive that would probably not make that noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some Issues

Problem getting clean clothes. Have a soft water system and the clothes are not getting all that clean. Have doubled the recommended detergent amount. Any recommendations for best detergent?
