Better than a Maytag!!

My first washing machine was a Maytag. I thought that nobody could be better than a Maytag. I was wrong. I like that I have a number of choices of dirt levels, water temps, and that I can choose an extra rinse. My only problem with this machine is not the machine's fault but mine. I keep forgetting to put the detergent in first.
I would recommend this to a friend!

my washer is only 2 weeks old and every time we use it, an error message pops up. we have to unplug it to get it to work again. NOT IMPRESSED!

Solid Machine

It's a quiet machine. I hardly hear it running. Wife loves it. I was nervous at first with internet saying this machine does not clean but it does. Family of four with a dog and cat, there was nothing it didn't do a good job with. I been through Whirlpool, GE and Maytag( basically Whirlpool now) so far this has been my favorite machine. I just had a GE transmission go out at 13 months, not under warranty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Washer

Clothes come out so fresh yet gently washed, not tied in a knot! My clothes do not feel like they have been beat to death, yet are nice and clean. We use fragrance-free laundry detergent so I can really tell. My old washer was making them smell funky all the time. The new Speed Queen has taken care of that....they just smell like fresh air now. And the machine is whisper quiet and has so many setting options. I love auto-fill and the ability to program pre-sets for my washing style. I so lingerie/fine washables once a week and it is great for that since that load is always the same.

Did I make a mistake?

I purchased this washing machine in September of 2021, at the height of the pandemic supply shortage. I wanted the base model Speed Queen but the only one I could find available locally was this TR 7003 unit with a fancy computer board on it. I had been noticing issues with it not filling properly, but figured it was a fluke. Then I noticed one day that it stopped filling a large load way too early. Called Speed Queen support and got a service appointment set up. Service man comes out and says it’s a control board issue, we’ll get one ordered but no clue how long it will take. My concern is with this being a brand new washer and it already needing a control board, what happens when the washer is out of warranty?? Then I’m on the hook when this control board goes bad again. Frustrated at the situation but at least it’s covered under warranty.

Hope it lives up to the reputation they suppose to have. It's seems to perform better than all are prior machines we have had in the past. Much quieter than a Matag
