We absolutely love our SpeedQueen washer. We have been frustrated with the industry low-water, slow, front-load washers. These other washers would put just enough water in to swish the sweat and dirt around your clothes. (We would cheat by installing a hose near the washer to add more water.) We would almost always run an additional rinse cycle so the clothes wouldn't come out with a slight odor.
But the SpeedQueen filled perfectly using the auto fill. It covered the clothes in water. And we could fill it to the top if we needed. The clothes came out smelling clean. I can already tell the difference in the colors. And it washes most loads in about 45 minutes.
We love the SpeedQueen.

I going from a Samsung front load to the Speedqueen and I love the way my clothes smell when they come out the washer! I haven’t had this smell in years! So happy with our purchase!!

It does everything I need plus more! We take in ill feral cats, and have cats and dogs of our own. Needless to say there is a lot of animal hair and dirt on towels and our clothes. It ALWAYS gets them clean and remove most of the hair.

Quiet and Efficient With a Few Quirks

We’ve had the washer and dryer for about a month. Overall, the washer is excellent. It has good capacity, is quiet and efficient. My only complaint is that you cannot lift the lid while water is filling the machine. So, if you want to fill the machine before you add the clothes, you have to remember to come back and open washer before it starts the wash cycle. Twice I’ve forgotten that the washer is filling and by the time I remember to add the clothes and detergent, it was already halfway through the wash cycle. You should be able to leave the top open while the washer is filling. Once it stops filling, the machine should turn off until you close the lid. And when the washer completes the entire wash cycle, the signal needs to be louder.
