[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, this works like a charm. It's far less noisy than expected and actually quieter than one about half the size. I like the ability to sync with my favorite apps, I like the remote and I like the actual controls which are intuitive to use even without reading. A few things to keep in mind or consider prior to purchase are the size...I double checked the dimensions for installing into a window prior to purchase but you might also want to consider how far this extends outside the window and the type of support to be used. It's big and heavy. Fortunately I had help so it wasn't a big deal but this will be a challenge for someone doing it on their own. Next - and this was far less easy to resolve - this has a non-standard plug due to the size of the unit. It's a 230 v and a simple little adapter will not work since it doesn't draw sufficient power from the existing outlet. You will either need access to a 230 outlet or plan accordingly. Still, a powerhouse that provides both heat and cool for a large area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a more powerful window unit for my she-shed that I use as a photography studio. This one cools very quickly and I am excited about the heat as well come winter. My absolute favorite features are the ability to control the unit from the app so that I can properly prepare the studio for a client just a few hours before without actually going out there, which is helpful for early morning sessions as well as the ability to just have it turn on at certain times. My husband found this to be easy, as he has installed window units previously, but very heavy, which is to be expected. You will likely need a second person to help with the install. The display is user-friendly and the overall appearance is pretty minimalist.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this ac unit/heater a month ago and have been very satisfied with my purchase, the wifi controller work great and it cools my whole house very well, I would recommend for a large area. It is 240 volt so you need to run 12/2 and 20 amp breaker
