Powerful window unit with strong heat and cool

We purchased this unit to replace ours that was legitimately from 1970 something. We can only hope this one lasts as long! So far, we love the compact size and relative quiet noise level of this unit. The cooling and heating is perfectly sufficient for our large master bedroom. My only complaint is that I wish it was 'smarter'. My goal in finding a new unit was to have something that could monitor the air temp and kick on when needed. I thought this unit would do that but, what it does is kick on every 3 minutes to take the temp of the room and then reacts as needed. A little annoying if you want to keep the room at a certain temp at night as you have to deal with the noise of it coming on every few minutes. If that was improved somehow to have a thermostat that could constantly monitor, then we'd be at 5 stars. Overall, still happy with our upgrade.

I bought my LG cooling/heating appliance about a month ago. It's so faithful during the summer months and good to me during the few and far between cold days during the winter here in deep south Texas! Downside is trying to clean inside when the dirty and mold start. It's a huge job and can also need up your air conditioner which is so expensive to begin with. Then you have to buy another.

Not happy at all

I bought this and it worked great for 3 weeks.my house felt great! All of a sudden the motor stopped. There’s power to it but it just stopped. I’m in a rural area so it seems challenging to get someone out there to look at it. It’s al frustrating cause no one has even called me about it and it’s been out for about a month. It’s HOT and I’m in Florida! The kids and sure would like our AC fixed.
