Great for air. Not for heat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2.5 star. Simply because this ac unit doesn’t do its intended job. The heater went out within a few months on this product. It’s freezing in our home and this is our main source of heat. We have bought small space heaters to help, we can’t get anyone to help us fix it and our landlord refuses to replace it since the air conditioner part works fine. And I absolutely can’t find a filter replacement.

I wanted a unit with enough power that would cool or heat the entire building easily and I was not disappointed with this LG window unit. It was easy to install and it it puts out a lot of power without the noise. It is a heavy unit so you will need more than one person to help and exterior support brackets but other than that this is a great product just make sure you keep the filter clean. The fact that it’s WiFi enabled made me choose this one in particular. I’m very pleased so far with this air conditioner/heater.I live in Florida so I haven’t tried out the heat part yet but I’m sure it will be just as good as the cold air .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a air conditioner that also put out heat. That's when I discovered this unit. The installation process is very simple and easy to follow directions. The led control panel makes it easy to read. This unit also has a 2 speed fan, delay on/off timer up to 24 hours. For each, press of the timer button advances the time by 1 hour. There are four mode types for the unit, energy saver, cool, fan, and heat. It all can be controlled by the remote as well. Also on the remote and on the unit face it has an auto swing that controls the vertical louver from left to right. Also the a/c unit is wifi capable to a home network of 2.4 GHZ. Our Den and Living room is just alittle over one thousand square feet and it cools these spaces with ease and within minutes. Living the deep south in the summer time, this unit is needed greatly and believe it or not during the winter we do have a few very cold nights. If your looking for a great A/C unit, this the one for you. My family and I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This window HVAC is the perfect solution for us. We have central heat and air, but as usual with a two story home, the upstairs is hard to regulate. With this unit cooling the three upstairs bedrooms, we hardly need to even run the central unit. Operation is smooth and quiet. Looking forward to enabling WiFi so we can remotely turn it on when returning from vacations.
