Walking Away from Vital Proteins

I am voting with my dollars and have moved to another brand for collagen powder and protein powder. I need a scoop and a container that respects me, not just the environment. I am also wondering about changes to the product, especially if customers accept the shoddy packaging and unhelpful lack of a dedicated scoop. I was a long-time customer who recommended your products to others in the past.

No longer using Vital Proteins Products

After being a long- time customer who has recommended Vital Proteins to others, I am voting with my dollars and switching to another brand. I need a dedicated scoop and container that respect me and not just the environment. I also wonder what changes have been made or will be made to the products once consumers accept the shoddy packaging and customer service.

No longer recommend because of the packaging

I’ve been using this product for years. We saved the scoop from the last container that had one, and have been using it since. A win for the environment. But the new packaging?! Impossible to open, and then faced with acceptance of terms and conditions?! Not sure what is going on, but it doesn’t seem like this packaging has been product tested. Has it been tested with the average person who doesn’t have strong fingers? Must I find and read terms and conditions before seeing what I’m getting into? We will be looking around for a similar product that is easier to open. This isn’t worth the aggravation.

Awful cardboard packaging!

I've been taking Vital Proteins for several years, but will no longer do so. The packaging is insane for someone in their 70's with arthritis in their hands! I read the directions to open, but I'm not strong enough to open this cardboard canister. Will have to switch to another brand.

loved the original - but not the new…

I used to really like this product because of how well it dissolved in coffee with very little taste. However, with this new formula, it never dissolves in my coffee fully anymore and causes it to clump or even separate, which looks and tastes unappetizing, so I’ve stopped using it. I haven’t been able to find another formula that has the amount of collagen in a serving this one has so I’m really bummed. Has anyone else noticed this? And should I try dissolving it in just water instead of coffee?

My husband and I both use this product. Our son recommended that we take this and bought our first container. Now we are in out 80s and with your new packaging can hardly open this
with our arthritic hands without making a mess. We always recycled. We are left with having to change brands.

I thought it was a great product until I found a bug in the middle of the powder. Halfway through it and I saw that. Absolutely disgusted. Never buying this or anything affiliated with this product again. This product isn’t the cheapest either, so to find this while I’m halfway through using it was disappointing and frustrating.
