What happened???

Been taking the supplement for almost 3 years speaking high praises until now. What happened to the original that dissolved quickly and had no flavor?? Also no plastic scoop? It seems there is no problem selling the product in plastic but no longer provide a scoop, not to mention price increases. Do better!!

Recent quality decline

I've been using this product daily for years and years, stirring it into my coffee every morning. I adore the effect it has on my hair, skin and nails -- it's a regular part of my beauty routine. However, in the last 6 months or so, the quality of the product has noticeably declined. The powder itself has gone from snow-fine to a coarser texture with brown flecks in it. It used to dissolve in my coffee without a trace and add no flavor, but now it adds a noticeable musk and a gelatinous texture. The first time I received one of these lower-quality jars, I hoped I just got a weird batch. But I've continued ordering directly from the manufacturer, and consistently encountered the same problem. I'm not sure if there has been a change in manufacturing methods or if this is related to the Nestle acquisition or what, but it really has bummed me out!
Before this quality change, I was a regular brand advocate with my friends and would've given a five-star review. Now that I've seen that this quality decline may be permanent, I don't feel comfortable recommending this product to people, at least not without a major caveat about the flavor and texture problems.

New No Scoop is not the same!

I have been using Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Unflavored for a year or more now. I feel its helped calm my joint pain and keep the wrinkles down. I went to open a new canister just now to see there is no scoop. No problem. Because I still have a scoop. What I do see that has me giving 3 stars is there is no longer 90 mg of Vitamin C or the 80 mg of Hyaluronic Acid needed to address my dry skin and wrinkles. I'm extremely disappointed in this canister. So much I'm thinking of changing brands once this one is gone. I always say it's the little things in life that make it worth while. Unfortunately now I get to show more wrinkles.

**HONEST REVIEW** So far so good!

I always leave reviews because reviews are a huge factor for me personally when deciding to purchase a product, however not all reviews are honest, unfortunately, so I try to leave a review that is honest, even if it's not a good review.
I have been taking this VP unflavored collagen peptides for about two and a half months, maybe three, and I actually can tell a difference. My hair is showing new growth, and my nails are growing faster and thicker. I am starting to notice my skin is super soft, and I swear a couple of fine lines have diminished as well (I am JUST starting to get very fine lines around my eyes). I have also noticed that when I bend my knees I do not hear the slight 'popping' sound every single time anymore. I started noticing these changes recently so give it some time. It may take you more than one jug of this to see results, so don't look at getting results overnight or even within a week or two (except for possibly the nail growth which I noticed within approx. 2 weeks!!). I put 2 full scoops in my coffee every morning, it dissolves quickly and has absolutely no taste. I put creamer in my coffee so for those of you drinking it black, I can't comment on no taste. I just started taking the Beauty Gummies as well, I am on my first bottle (2 per day, sometimes 4) but I haven't been taking the gummies with the powder long enough to know if they gummies are making a difference. I will review those after a while of taking them. I would definitely recommend at least trying this powder though, but again recommend giving it time before you make assumptions on whether or not it works. I hope this was helpful.

New formulation

I am a subscriber and the new order I received is very different from the product I used in the past. I realized there is no scoop now and it does not dissolve in my coffee like the old product. It immediately clumps up and leaves a film on top. I will not be ordering again.

Would have given this 5 stars up until last month

I have been using this product for over a year and have felt it made a big difference for my hair, nails and skin. I was thrilled that this product dissolved completely into my coffee and did not leave any taste...up until I got my most recent shipment last month. I suspect you have changed the formula since this new container does not dissolve completely, is clumpy, leaves a mild residue on the top of my drink and makes it taste bitter and borderline undrinkable. I am fine with the company removing the scoop but really urge you to bring back whatever formula you were using prior. I am not likely to buy this product again at this point, which is disappointing since I was satisfied until now and had been recommending VP to friends. No more.

Love it!!

Every morning I drink a cup of organic whole milk, a drop of pure vanilla extract, and 2 scoops of collagen peptides. It’s delicious!!!!
It doesn’t mix 100% but none of them do. I mix it in a mini blender and then stir it in between drinking so I get all of the collagen.
I’m an older woman who’s in pain every day. Normally I take extra strength Tylenol 3 times a day, every day. This week, I haven’t needed a single one.
I’ve also started jumping on a mini trampoline which is said to lubricate joints.

Reformulation ruined it

My recent purchase (labeled ADVANCED instead of ORIGINAL) no longer dissolves completely, leaving a funky-tasting film on top of my beverage and gross clumps throughout. Super bummed—this was the perfect unflavored supplement until you changed it.
