Bring the plastic container back!

Love the product, but first they removed the spoon and now they change the plastic container for a horrible cardboard container, this product is very expensive to have a cheap container, I like the product but they’re going down the hill, I will switch for another one with a descent container, what a disappointment.

I'm done with Vital Proteins

I can't believe how far this company has slid downhill over the last few years. I've used this product for years and then very happy, for the most part. Now, I just opened my very last container that I will ever purchase. First, you take away the scoop. As if people just have measuring spoons hanging around at the office, if that's where they use the product. So apparently we all need to purchase a set of measuring spoons to keep in the container from now on. If that's not bad enough, you now change the packaging to some sort of cardboard contraption that is near impossible to open. I know that my dad and stepmom with their arthritis would never be able to open this container. I wasn't able to open it simply because I have long nails. I literally had to go to my neighbor's house and have them open it for me! That's ridiculous! Not to mention that on the inner seal there's a disclaimer saying that if you open the product you are agreeing to arbitration and that if you don't agree you should return the product. What kind of nonsense is going on with this company! I'm done. I will be giving their competitors my business in the future.

Too many changes to the product, scoops, packaging

I have been using this product for 2 years and I love the improvement to my skin, hair and nails. However, there have been numerous changes to the vital proteins unflavored powder in the past year. The serving size on 1 container is 1 1/2 tablespoons and another container it is 2 tablespoons. It could be because we have received 2 different size blue scoops. But some packaging no longer contains a scoop. The last container I bought online was called a "beauty formula" with different packaging. The latest container I bought is a totally different formula with the breakout of the amino acid profile. Not sure what the daily requirement is for amino acids, so this labeling didn't mean anuthing to me (why not tout the benefits of the amino acids in your labeling?). This same container had yet a larger white scoop than the other 2 blue scoops I have had in other products, no plastic pull tab, but a foil tamper evident safety seal. In addition, the powder texture is much different, yet mixes well in coffee. The problem is that at the end of the cup of coffee, the last of the coffee is like "sludge" and it tastes awful. I am tired of all of the changes with serving sizes (1 1/2 tbls and 2 tbls), scoops included/not included, different sizes of scoops (20 CC and 25 CC and the white scoop) and formulation changes. I am switching to another brand for my husband and myself.

Poor container design.

Love the product and how my nails are stronger. Bought a new container today and HATE the new cardboard container. It did not pull up according to the instructions. By the time I got it opened the top could not be resealed. Very poor design.

Good product, horrible container!

I have been using this product for a number of years. I miss the scoop, but saved one that I keep reusing. The new paper packaging is impossible to open! It’s awful. Luckily I still had my old container and transferred to that one. I will stop buying if I can’t even open the containers. I tried to add a picture, but it wouldn’t let me. The can was destroyed

Great product in a terrible container!

Easy to take with my morning coffee. Today I tried it with my cereal but it took a little longer to dissolve in the cold milk. I’m 72 and use it for bone and joint health. However, please go back to original plastic container. I nearly destroyed the new one today trying to open it! Yes, I read the directions but I’m glad I saved the old container so I could transfer the powder to it. New one is not user friendly!

I have used a different collagen product for awhile and decided to try Vital proteins. I have noticed a change in my complexion, nails, and my knee joints, I’m very satisfied with this product thus far, I am going to try the lemon on my next purchase.
