Doesn't mix well

I've been using the Vital Proteins marine collagen for 1 year. It's been great with no adverse effects thus far and it mixes well into my morning cup of coffee. Unfortunately, Costco was out and the other places I checked were overpriced so I decided to try this one, the Collagen Peptides. This one absolutely DOES NOT mix well at all. There is ALWAYS heavy residue and yes, even disgusting clumps (see photo). I will not be repurchasing.

I enjoy this product. It’s a good way for me to get extra protein, given that I’m a vegetarian, but why is the container half full? I just opened this morning and the container is literally half full

Big Disappointment

I have used the collagen peptides for awhile. I thought that I would try the advanced formula. That was a mistake. The advanced formula DOES NOT mix well in anything as it lumps up and floats on top of my Starbucks. Big disappointment.

IT MIXES PERFECTLY FINE IN HOT TEA. I don’t get why you guys are trying to mix collagen in anything other than tea. It needs to be very warm/Hot i barely stir mine and it fully dissolves. I use the full 3 table spoons in one tea in the morning.

Clumpy when mixed with cool liquids.

Disappointed

I have been using this product for several years, and the last few containers I have opened have had a bad smell, and I can taste it in my coffee. I had never had this issue before. I had two cups of coffee this morning without collagen, then added the Vital Proteins to my last cup, and it smells and tastes bad, and I've noticed this for the last two containers I've used. After my experience this morning, I went to the website to look at reviews and saw that so many other people have posted similar comments. I think Vital Proteins needs to be upfront with customers about what is different about their products and what is causing the bad taste and smell. I am very disappointed and will look for another brand.
