Not a fan of the new formula. It doesn't dissolve as well, is oily, and bitter tasting.

Thanks for reaching out! As you know, Vital Proteins only uses the highest quality natural ingredients. Because we use real natural ingredients, color may change throughout shelf life. Regarding the unflavored Collagen Peptides w/Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid product in particular, we use high quality natural Vitamin C in this product. Over time, Vitamin C can change colors and brown (Maillard reaction) over time. Depending on the batch of our materials, this rate of color transition can happen at different speeds. This browning in the Vitamin C is completely normal and does not impact the taste, product quality, or safety of this offering. You can still enjoy your unflavored Collagen Peptides w/Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid to its fullest!

I have been taking this since Oct 2022. In Dec 2022 I developed a cough and still have it. Been to several doctors to figure it out and noticed while in hospital for 3 days when I couldn’t take my collagen my cough stopped. I started back and coughing again. Can your product cause cough? It is a side effect.

I have been using this product for years. The price has kept increasing and you are getting less for your money. The packaging has gotten smaller. No more scoop (not a big deal. But every time I open my container there is less production.

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. Because we source our Collagen Peptides from multiple partners, the density of the blended product can vary. That's why we fill each product by weight, rather than "height" (or fill line). Filling each canister by weight ensures each customer receives the EXACT same amount of product!
That being said, we understand that when you open a canister of Collagen Peptides that has been filled with a denser blend, it may seem like you've been cut short. Just know you haven't been!

I use to love buying this untill they took out the scoop. So inconvenient to use now. I’m currently looking for another brand that has a scooper so I know exactly if I’m getting the accurate amount.

Hi there! We’re phasing out our plastic scoops—removing a little plastic from our products is a small but meaningful step toward a more responsible future. Though we’re removing our scoop, you can still expect the same bone, joint, hair, skin & nails benefits from collagen peptides that you know and love. The recommended serving sizes will remain the same. We will simply change the instructions on the label, shifting from scoops to tablespoons. Exact instructions and measurements will be provided on each label for reference. You can use the same tablespoon you use for cooking or baking to measure your favorite Vital Proteins® products.
