Made my skin breakout!

Multiple people recommended this product to me so I decided to try it. I’ve been taking 1 scoop every morning in my coffee and my skin is terrible! Specifically on my jaw line and chin. I rarely break out and it started within days of starting this product. I took YouTheory collagen pills prior to this and my skin was flawless. Will be returning to using that.

Not For Everyone

This supplement is probably not for everyone. I had a very bad experience using this product. This product caused adverse reactions and did not provide any of the espoused benefits. I will start by saying that I am a very healthy adult male. I eat a balanced diet, routinely workout 5 days a week, and I have never had any skin problems in the past. I purchased this product in hopes that it would provide a slight boost to my skin’s radiance. Shortly after I started taking the supplement, I developed persistent and pervasive, cystic facial acne. The acne was heavily concentrated around my forehead. I battled facial acne for the next 2 years. I used facial washes, acne washes, I went to the doctor, the dermatologist, I took antibiotic acne treatment and used prescription washes; nothing was working. Finally, after 2 long years and multiple elimination diets, I discovered that the Vital Proteins collagen supplement was the direct cause of my acne. My acne has cleared up since I stopped taking the supplement; however, I fear that the breakouts caused by this product have resulted in irreparable scarring. Everyone’s body reacts differently to supplements and there is very little oversight in the multi-billion-dollar supplement industry. Be careful about what you consume and recognize that not all supplements will provide you with a benefit.

Best collagen/protein powder ever.

I love that this product is unflavored, that way I can add it to anything I want without giving me that chalky weird consistency most protein powders give. Additionally, I do not have to worry about calories or possible dietary restrictions, this product is dairy free! Absolutely love this product and recommend it to everyone.
