Great way to increase protein without grit

I bought this on the recommendation of a nutritionist as a way to increase protein without the gritty and unpleasant taste of most non-dairy protein powders. The collagen peptides have blown me away. Not only do I not taste them in smoothies, but my skin suddenly looks incredible and I am noticing an increase in feeling better/in my digestion. I am guessing that this is the result of several changes to my eating, sleeping and exercise habits, but I am convinced that the peptides helped push me over the hump. There isn’t a wonder food out there that solves all problems, but these peptides have certainly met my needs for more protein and gave me some lovely additional benefits as well. I would definitely recommend.

I have been using this for about three years. It helps with the appearance of my hair, skin, and nails. If I could pick only one supplement to take, it would be Vital Proteins.

Hair growth!

My hair grew in a burst the first few days after adding this to my morning tea pot. I usually have 2 small pots of green tea in the morning (about 3.5 cups). And not just hair on my head ... pretty much everywhere my hair grew (wink). My nails also sprouted quickly —yet so far not in strength (my nails are paper-thin, peel, split, tear and usually only grow out a small amount in length. I will keep note also on whether this will strengthen my nails (which would be awesome!)
My skin overall seems to be a bit smoother and my complexion is soft and clear. I will need to keep note of firmness as time goes on. My average dose currently is about 1-2 scoops per day.
Not sure yet about how it is affecting my tendons/joints however between this product and my daily stretches and walking I feel a bit more at ease of movement. This is my main reason for purchasing this type of product.
This is mostly tasteless/odour less —reminds me ever so slightly of powder-creamer. I do not taste or smell when this is in my hot tea. I have no issues with it clumping —I find them to be easily whisked-out and when using the proper amount of liquid there shouldn’t be an issue.
Good value as one container lasts a month and a little over since my dosage varies 1-2 scoops per day.
I have already recommended this to a friend and she too is enjoying the benefits.

Great in coffee!

Honestly, this would also be good in a hot tea. The texture in just water (like a glass or bottle) is weird but if you can get past that then it does have multiple uses. I find that I run out of the smaller container fairly quick and wait awhile for my next order. I've been using this for about 3 months and I'm not sure that I see anything with my hair or skin. I also keep in mind that it benefits the joints as well which is something we can't see. I think this is wonderful for us coffee drinkers who want to think of our health. There is very little flavor to it, you might get it in the back of your mouth a little bit. I drink flavored coffee and don't get it at all. Sometimes I do with a smaller cup but it is not at all something that turns me off of using it.
