I’m also taking biotin but when I skip my daily collagen, my nails break. I’m also giving it to my 90 year old mom in her orange juice. She looks healthier. The packaging is very precise and I sense the product is very carefully made.

Vital Proteins has become an essential part of my day. It makes my skin glow and joints feel like I'm walking on clouds. I have always had bad knees, and this makes all the difference! The only downfall about taking Vital Proteins every day is how terrible you feel when you DON'T take it!!

Wish it had lower sodium

Dissolves well in hot liquids, but not so much in cold ones. It’s unflavored like it says, so you can’t tell it’s even added in...that’s a plus. I love the benefits of the collagen, but I never use two scoops daily like it says. The sodium is pretty high so I only use one scoop every morning. Then drink lots of water the rest of the day!

I wanted to try this for a month or two to see what effects I would have. Well my nails grew like crazy. They grew thicker as well even in the first two weeks. So obviously my hair grew and my teenager's hair grew even faster. But the biggest surprise was my skin. I looked at my arms and legs and the crepey skin is drastically reduced. At least by 50%. I was not expecting that. All this in about two months. I mix it in herbal tea. It does dissolve well.
