Doesn't mix well

I can't fairly comment on the efficacy of this product. I bought a single serving size to try it out. I poured the contents into a Bolthouse Farms Chocolate protein drink, and the result is a glob-filled mess. There is no flavor to this stuff, so the chunks taste like the beverage, but as vigorously as I shook the bottle, it should have mixed better. At least, that's what I think. Perhaps I should have tried putting it in my coffee, or using a blender - but that seems like a lot of fuss. A powder should just mix in with a liquid, I'd say.

I am normally VERY skeptical of diet and beauty fads, but it's hard to ignore so many people I trust raving about VP's Collagen Peptides. That, coupled with the fact that my wedding was coming up within a year, made me pull the trigger to try some collagen peptides (long thick hair, strong nails, sign me up!) I started noticing a difference in my hair after a few months of taking 1 scoop a day in my coffee. WOW! I used to have super thick hair in high school, but when I hit my late 20's it started getting more brittle and not as thick. The past few months of taking collagen has completely changed that. My hair is breaking less, less is coming out in my hairbrush and my hair just feels so much thicker and healthier. Not to mention, it's growing like crazy - my hairdresser can't believe it. My nails having been stronger and peeling less (I wear nail polish constantly and keep my nails short, so it's hard to really assess the health of my nails - but they seem a lot thicker and less 'bendy'). Most exciting, though, has been the improvement in my skin. I've struggled with hormonal acne since I was 14. Finally, at age 30, my skin has finally started to 'act its age' with very little to no breakouts - and I can only attribute this to the collagen. I've also noticed a decrease in my fine lines, and my skin just seems to 'glow'. This stuff is magic in a canister. If you're undecided, just give it a try for a few months. I will be a lifelong fan - I just wish it was easier/cheaper to get here in the UK!

Ridiculous results

I just placed my 3rd order, this product is amazing. I take 2 scoops daily as recommended and since I started using it I've seen a noticeable difference. My hair is silkier and my eyelashes are longer and fuller. I'll be using this product for the rest of my life!

I've now been taking collagen for 5 months now. I can definitely see a noticeable difference in my skin, and nails, but most especially my hair; both growth and overall health. Not to mention the benefits for my joints to support running and cycling. My morning coffee is not complete with my two scoops!

We love our collagen peptides! We have been using Vital Proteins for well over a year and have noticed a marked difference in the growth of our nails, strength of our hair, and repair to our skin. As avid CrossFit athletes we begin each morning, post WOD, with Vital Proteins collagen peptides in our shakes! Can't recommend enough!

I have been purchasing vital proteins products for about 4-5 years now. I have tried several numerous products of theirs but I have the peptides on a monthly subscription as I have 1-2 scoops every single day. I love knowing I am nourishing my body inside and out. I believe in combination with healthy (ish) diet and regular exercise and water intake, the peptides are the reason for my glowing blemish free skin, strong nails, and rapid growing hair. I am sorry that I haven’t written a review sooner as this has been one of my most consistent products used in the last 5 years and I absolutely adore it. I even have my fiancé saying “did you put the peptides in my coffee?” Whereas before, he wouldn’t even touch them! My only complaint - which is my own fault - is that I lent my “sample” container of peptides to a friend to share and haven’t found a good replacement container for my traveling peptides!! Thanks Vital Proteins for being a sustainable source of vitality. I am a loyal fan through and through and am looking forward to seeing what new and innovative products you bring to the table.
