Not for sensitive stomachs

I wanted to love it, but it just did not agree with my system. It also suppressed my appetite way too much, but for some that might be a good thing. I was only taking 1/2 the daily recommended dose. I tried the Collagen Peptides and the Lavender Lemon beauty water, neither agreed with me.

WONDERFUL

I wish I would have taken some before and after pictures of my skin to show. I saw Emily Schromm talking about this and decided to give it a go for my skin mainly. My skin cleared up after ONE WEEK of putting it in my coffee in the mornings. The powder is completely flavorless and dissolves within seconds. I am absolutely amazed. I have not paid much attention to my hair, nail, or lashes because my skin was my main concern. I have tried everything since I started breaking out in my early 20s to get my skin as clear as it is now and I am now 26. Its been about a month and my skin is still just as clear. Don't get me wrong, I have had little baby pimples here and there BUT they go away quickly and do not take over my face, even when its my time of the month. I will continue putting this in my coffee every morning!

Caution

I am a healthy middle age woman in good physical shape. I started using this product to increase my protein levels and to boost hair and nail growth. I used this product for about 6 weeks, 5 times per week in a protein shake. I had a routine physical several weeks ago with a complete blood count and discovered that my Hemoglobin and Hematocrit levels were above the normal range for the first time in my life. I was sent to a Hematologist/Oncologist for further testing and I was scared to death. I discovered that this product is what put my red blood count levels above normal range. Thankfully, once I stopped using it, my levels are now in a normal range. Use with caution!

Vital Proteins is an awesome company, with awesome products, and awesome customer service. SO MUCH AWESOME. First off, these collagen peptides are great. They are truly unflavored. I add them into my smoothies and there is no weird taste or weird aftertaste. I did try mixing it with cold water, but it didn't dissolve as well as it does in a smoothie. However, I read many reviews that it dissolves better with hot water-hence why many people mix it in their coffee. I suffer from acne and I truly feel that this helps heal my acne marks faster. I've never had issues with my hair or its growth, but I did see that after taking this product for not even a week (I'm not kidding), my hair became so thick-but not in a bad way! I highly recommend checking this product out! Vital Proteins also has the best customer service. I contacted them on Facebook because I received my monthly subscription but when I opened it, the container was covered in residue. Within hours, they responded. I only contacted them because the packaging was different and wanted to let them know how I received it. I wasn't looking for a refund, I just wanted to make sure that their packaging didn't change. Liz was great and informed me that the warehouse where my order came from ran out of their usual boxes and told me she was sending me a replacement for the messy container. Within 2 days of contacting them, my replacement collagen peptides came to my door. LOVE this company and their products. Thanks Vital Proteins!!

BEST GIFT EVER

one of my son's sent this to me because I had been in a horrible car wreck. At 56 I broke 3 ribs, sternum, knocked out a tooth, right clavical and exploded my t6 (kind of the middle of my back). I had back surgery 15 days after the wreck. Then I had my clavical repaired 4 months later. I had to heal enough in my back to be released from the back brace. Because the brace kept my shoulders in their correct position it forced the shoulder side of my clavical back while the neck side stayed put. The clavical surgery took 3.5 hours and 3 people to get it in place to screw the bracket on. During this period of time I also started the implant process to replace my tooth. As you can tell I needed a lot of help healing bones. I've just ordered my 4th 20 oz container. Per the doctors ALL the bones are healing faster than expected. I put 2 scoops in my ensure morning and night. I've also noticed that the creaking behind my knee has lessened. Another plus.
