Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Formula Changed

I recently purchased Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides and I noticed that the color is different. It now has more of a yellow color instead of white and the consistency is not as finely milled as my other purchases of this product. Additionally, it has caused me to have gastrointestinal issues. This happened within an hour of consuming it. I have never experienced this before. Has the formulation of this product changed? It definitely is not the same. What happened? Since it is now making me sick, I may have to discontinue using it. I really loved this product until now.

I have been drinking 1 scoop per day for close to 3 weeks. I add it to my morning smoothie, I can’t tell just yet it’s doing anything spectacular and although it’s “unflavored” it sort of adds a plastic taste to my breakfast drink... I will keep drinking for now.

Wanted to like it

My daughter recommended this so I was excited to try it. After a couple weeks, I noticed my nails looked great but I ( at age 61) was breaking out in my chin. Also, I’ve been having stomach cramps and digestive problems which I think is from the product. So, I’ve quit it.

Last winter I broke my femur and my daughter suggested I take collagen to promote healing. At one scoop a day my leg is healing well, but my nails - I've never had such strong and long nails! Good stuff.

Makes my skin glowy!

I have been using this for around 1 year now. A couple of times I ran out I could see the difference in my skin. Makes my skin glowy and plump and radiant! Doing auto ship now so I never miss a day again. Love love love this product!

I’ sorry to report that I’ve stopped using this product because of its unpleasant smell and taste despite an expiration date of 2023. My friend whocrecommended this product says that hers is tasteless and odorless. I mixed it with black tea and I definitely notice an unappetizing odor and taste.
