I like adding the protein to my cereal, so I get some protein with it. I'll add it to shakes too. It dissolves easily and has no taste, which I like.

Efficacy of VP Collagen Peptide Product

The current batch of product is much more soluble and easy to mx. There are gradual improvements in overall skeletal and muscular functions. It took the consumption of 6 jars of product at 2 scoops/day to see some noticeable improvements, so I will continue to use it. The beef collagen found in the Gummi Coke Bottles manufactured in Turkey, at the rate of consumption of one bag per day for about 2 weeks gave dramatic results, but they are acidic and not good for the teeth, since they have to be chewed. I would look into isolating and studying the specific collagens in that particular product, from that specific source, since there may be structural differences in those collagens, and because additional proteinacious substances may be present.

I started incorporating a collagen supplement into my routine about a year ago. I started with capsules before trying Vital Proteins collagen peptides powder. I love that I can mix this into anything (I put it mostly in my coffee) and I've seen great results. My hair doesn't break as much, my skin feels more moisturized, and I even feel less aches in my joints! Great product for anyone looking to add collagen into their supplement regimen.

Here in Alaska it can be hard to get health products. I'm enjoying subscriptions to collagen & gelatin from Vital Proteins to make sure I keep them in stock in my pantry!
