Tastes like I'm licking warm bovine hide

So many great reviews, and after a quick bit of research it was an easy decision to give this a try. UNFLAVORED doesn't mean FLAVORLESS. This tastes utterly disgusting to me. I first tried in ice cold water, it turns stringy and does not dissolve (advertisement says mixes in hot or cold water...), so now I mix it in room temp water and it dissolves like a dream. Tastes like someone handed me a piece of aged cow hide to soak in water as the nastiest tea ever... After choking this down about a week (hey, I want to use it and give it a chance), I now plug my nose and can gulp the hide flavored water down in 20 or so seconds. I don't drink coffee or any other strong tasting drink, so I'm not sure if the claims are true that "I mix it in my coffee" and it doesn't take like bovine flavored coffee. Is it making a difference, though? My nails have grown long and strong since I was a kid. My hair has improved beyond measure once I stopped coloring it about 5 years ago (hello beautiful healthy silver). My joints have done a complete 180 once I started drinking a lot of water (before I started taking this supplement). Why do I need this, then? Well, because I'm 50, and I figured why not get an edge over Father Time? But this... I can't take it. Did I tell you how disgusting it tastes?! Really, no one else thinks this?? Just because a beautiful celebrity endorses this does not mean any of the claims are true. She may have amazing genes and just take care of herself. Some people are extremely lucky, and some people have taken care of themselves for years, and will look amazing no matter how much cow hide tea they drink, so it's not the actual supplement they are taking. Correlation does not equal causation.

Clumps up in water

I tried mixing this in water. It clumped up and stuck to the spoon like slime. A little bit dissolved. It is not tasteless. Guess I'll go back to pill form.

Hi there! If mixing with a spoon or fork doesn't help, we recommend adding collagen to warm water before topping off with ice and cold water. This should do the trick!
