I have been using this for about a year and a half ... I mix it into my coffee and it desolves easy and no taste . after about 2 months I noticed my nails and hair growth .My skin looks great .. Im 59 .. and im pretty active . My knees and feet dont hurt anymore after work outs. I was attacted by a stray cat , it left a bite and several scratches on my arm ... I promise you that BECAUSE of the this collagen my wounds healed and didnt NOT leave any scars. Im very happy with it .

Favorite collagen supplement

There are many good quality collagen supplements out there these days but Vital Proteins still remains my favorite for 2 reasons. 1- there is truly no taste. Some brands I've tried still have a distinctive bovine taste that I really don't enjoy, this one is truly tasteless. 2- they dissolve quickly and easily! I have yet to find another brand that dissolves as quickly and easily as this brand. In fact, Vital Proteins collagen is the only collagen I can dissolve into a cold beverage (not talking about a smoothie) without weird collagen clumps remaining. These are the things you get for the higher price point, so if these 2 things really matter to you it's worth every penny!

Easy to consume

I bought this because a client of mine recommended it. She said her skin had more elasticity and her hair felt stronger. I am 28 and I know as I grow older I will lose some of the collagen my body naturally makes... so I’m trying to stay ahead of the game. This is easy to drink, mixes in nicely with my coffee. But it does not mix that well in cold drinks, it becomes a “goop”. I’d stick with warm drinks. So far I have noticed my skin looks less tired . Will be buying more.

I bought this a few weeks ago to help with my joints, extra benefit for skin, hair, and nails! I love it! My joints are less swollen and I am able to put on my wedding ring again!

2 years anniversary of using this product

I've been using this product by subscription for 2 years now. I take it with coffee every morning and feel energized to start my day. I used to have joint pains in my knees and hips after yoga and contributed it to aging, but since I started using this product I'm pain free and I didn't have to give up yoga :) My nails are long and strong and hair grows so fast that I can't keep up dying it. I'm not sure about benefits of this product on my skin since I use other skin products also. In general, I can say simply say "It works".

I like the product but it does not mix well with cool water at all. Hot drinks- it’s perfect. Otherwise, seems good. I haven’t noticed any difference after consistently taking it, so far.

Disappointing

I bought a version of this product before through a third-party retailer and was pleased after a month of using it, so I decided to subscribe through Vital Proteins. This version also has Hyaluronic Acid and Calcium, which is supposed to help with absorption. I prefer the original (this is called "original" but if I'm not mistaken the actual original contains only collagen peptides). I felt it was more effective and more economical. This bottle is only half full, unlike the ones sold through third party retailers, so it's misleading and an incredible waste of packaging. I hope the pure collagen peptide version sold through other retailers does not change. I cancelled my subscription and will not be purchasing this version again.
