I’ve been taking this for many years… however why are we only getting half a bottle full of a brand new bottle? it’s half full.

Hi Amy! Our apologies for the complications. Please note when your canister is filled, the powder does indeed fill most of the space in the canister - the powder naturally settles over time. Each canister includes a small mark labeled "Fill Line" located at the edge of the product label. The products are filled by weight rather than volume. Have any other questions or concerns? Big improvement of hair and nails.

It's been 3 years of product use and my nails and hair are beyond good condition. If I miss using the procduct for some weeks due to travel, I can tell the difference,

I don't recommend this prodect

I've been taking this product for years. This year supposedly ingesting 30 grams of protein per day. Well, my blood was just tested for protein and I'm below normal. I think this is not a good enough product. I'm very healthy otherwise. Here, all these years, I've been thinking I am getting the protein I need, only to find out I'm not. Don't bother buying.

Hello Sherry! Our Collagen Peptides is not a complete protein because it lacks the essential amino acid tryptophan and because levels of other essential amino acids are low. Adding free tryptophan to collagen peptides does not make it a complete protein. Collagen peptides should be consumed as a supplement and not as a replacement of dietary protein. Give us the original packaging back!

Nope. I’ll be changing to a different brand. Sad because I’ve used this for years. I was even willing to spend a bit more compared to other brands. Now they put it in a cheap cardboard container that has no cover to secure in place. If it falls over, the entire package will immediately spill out. Very poor decision on part of the company. You could have at least supplied a reusable plastic container with it, notifying customers of the upcoming change. This was just a disappointment.

Packaging Is Not Hard!

I was scared after reading all of the reviews on the packaging. I was able to open up the canister in seconds. Tip: When you're pulling up on the lid, face it away from you so that you're pulling the opening up and towards your body. Pulling straight up, it won't budge.

Good product, awful packaging

I've used Vital Proteins for years but will probably change brands due to the current packaging. I understand the sustainability issue and reducing plastic use, but there has to be a better packaging model than this one. It's terribly hard to open and doesn't seal well after opening, so I question whether the product stays fresh. Please reconsider this packaging.

Hi there! At Vital Proteins, we believe protecting our planet is vital. As of December 2022, we began to remove our plastic scoops from all products. We aim to have our complete product line scoopless by the end of 2025. We have the belief that caring for people also means caring for their environment.
Though we’re foregoing our scoop, consumers can still expect the same efficacious collagen peptides they know and love. The recommended dosages will remain the same, we will simply change dosing instructions on pack, shifting from scoops to tablespoons. Exact instructions will be provided on each label for consumer reference.

Impossible to open the new packaging!

I have used your product for years, but I can not open the new packaging. I have arthritis in my hands and it is impossible for me to open the jar, so I now use another brand of collagen. Please return to old packaging or at least have an easy open option for your older customers.
