Packaging is a fail

The packaging is the worse. I understand the need to cut back on plastic but a card board box is not ideal. It says pull here... pull what? Roll edge back and there is a tab but not really is tab just a piece of paper that rips off with no opening. Finally break in, only part of the top comes off part of it sticks to the box. Then there is another layer down in there to figure how to open. Obviously who ever thought a card boatd box would keep this fresh and dry has never lived where humidity is high. I'll put in a glass jar to keep it dry. Not everyone is able to pull a tiny tab, and battle this type of opening since many of us use this to help with joint issues. Strongly suggest it's back to the drawing table to figure this out.

I read the reviews about the new packaging and was expecting some sort of nightmare. What is the big deal? The new packaging is awesome, super easy to open AND it shows that Vital Proteins is a company that is committed to building a better world for future generations! I REALLY APPRECIATE A COMPANY WITH VALUES!!!!! Thank you for your commitment to the environment! A healthy environment means healthier humans!

Love the product — hate the new packaging

I’ve been using Vital Proteins for a year now — I use it every single day and absolutely love it. I really appreciate the amount of protein, and just recently realized that my nails never break and are longer than they’ve ever been!
That said, the new packaging is terrible. Even my husband couldn’t open it. I started with a pair of pliers, then finally had to stab a hole in it with a knife and saw it open. That’s not safe, and definitely not practical.
I totally understand the goal of reducing environmental impact — and I respect that — but this new design is just not user-friendly.
The “Pull here. Don’t twist. You got this.” — Yeah, no. I did not have it.
I know I’m not the only one complaining, and based on the responses I’ve seen, it doesn’t feel like this feedback is being taken seriously. But this really does need to be rethought. There has to be a better balance between sustainability and usability.

Awful new cardboard packaging. No thanks!

I have been a customer for over five years and have loved the product. Even a customer when y’all took away the little blue plastic scoop but now with a new cardboard packaging, it is so difficult to get into. I had to finally use a knife to break into it and then The freshness seal was destroyed, so I had to use my own container to keep it in. Took about five minutes or more trying to read the directions and do what it said for an ultimate fail anyway. If this is gonna be the new packaging, I’m gonna find a new collagen. So the blue scoop was taken away now, the plastic container is taken away, but the price is still the same Confused. I like the idea of the cardboard over the plastic. It just needs a new top or lid to get into it and to keep it fresh thank you for listening.

This new packaging will make me possibly look for a new product. I am impressed with product claims, but it is a mess to deal with the lid...... Please fix this.....
