good collagen...1st container opening was a disaster, 2nd container worked well...
I see you are trying to more sustainable packaging which I think is great! Don't need more plastic and scooper is not recyclable. So just use a tablespoon. It seems the mass does not care about sustainability. Keep up the good work!

I have been using this for years. I could handle not including the scoop anymore however, I could not open the container this time. Arthritic fingers and thumbs cannot pull the tab. Thank goodness I had the last container! Got the top open, aggressively with scissors, and poured it all into there.

Good Product with Bad Can't Open Packaging

Love the product but they changed the packaging and now I cannot open it so returned. Unhappy customer.

I like the product, but disappointed in the new packaging. I kept the old container & transferred the product. Please don’t make difficult containers to open for seniors with arthritis.

This is my favorite collagen protein and I’ve tried many. It is my first time purchasing with the new packaging. Daunting at first but managed to open and reseal perfectly fine. The product itself seems a little different though in that it now leaves a powder film on top of my coffee but never has in the past. I can get by it but it’s just different.

Horrible packaging

Horrible new packaging, they switched to a cheaper packaging but still kept their prices up. And Sustainable future is their response? What sustainable future if you lose your customers? How many of these poor reviews and lost customers is it going to take to listen and go back to your old packaging? People are sick of it.
Please start listening to these reviews and giving generic poor responses. Listen to your customers, especially the elderly who can’t even open the new packaging and give folks a new, better option. If you aren’t, drop the price if match the inferior quality. It’s a known fact it costs 68-72% more money to attract new customers than it does to maintain the ones you have.

Packaging

Recently returned to Vital Protein after trying others. Dislike the "new" cardboard container, hard to open with arthritic hands. I do not remember the dosage being 4 tbsp. I think the last I bought had a scoop & it was definitely not 4 tbsp. Will wait to see results.

With this change, along with the removal of our plastic scoops we are able to reduce our environmental plastic waste by 1,800M tons, and reduce our overall plastic use by 90% across all of our canister offerings. Though we’re foregoing our scoop, consumers can still expect the same efficacious collagen peptides they know and love. The recommended serving is anywhere between 2-4 leveled tablespoons which is equal to 1-2 scoops. Here at Vital, we always strive to exceed our customers' expectations. Love the new blue tub

I used Vital Proteins collagen proteins years ago and started again about a year ago and I absolutely love it. I am thrilled over the new paperboard tub!! Do not change it - the first time opening it felt awkward but after you get the hang of it - it’s fine. I use a serrated knife to score the lid first. I am reducing my plastic footprint and changing to brands who are in line. Bravo!
