Horrible New Packaging

I gave this rating due to the new “less plastic” packaging. The little tab says “you got this.” Well, my arthritic fingers did not have it. The lid was mangled before I could get to the product and now I have no way of keeping it fresh.

Love the paper packaging!

I'm way too old to have it smooth out my skin after too many years in the sun, but I started taking it for the protein after spinal surgery, and still use it every day. I haven't lost hair, my nails are strong, and I'm doing fine. One of my favorite things about it is the paper packaging, which I see is difficult for some people with arthritis in their hands to deal with. I don't have that problem and I really applaud your lack of plastic. The earth and I thank you.

Doesn’t Dissolve for Me

Nope, not a fan of this variety. This one won’t dissolve for me. Never had an issue with other Vital Protein products. I hate getting a chewy surprise in my coffee. Next…

Love the new paper/cardboard packaging.

Love the new paper/cardboard packaging. It makes me feel better about consuming so much of it. I wish the protein shakes I buy from another brand switched to paper/cardboard packaging like Vital Proteins did.

Probably good, but curdles in coffee

I have used the original formula in my coffee for years. I tried this formula but it ends up curdling in my coffee. I'm going back to the original.

Great product horrid packaging

I love this product but your new packaging is impossible for my 70 year old hands to open. Please make this easier. You intention was great, the execution was very poor.

Question about daily use

Why has the recommended daily amount gone up and the sizing of your product containers not changed? Did you add a filler? I’m considering other options.

Hello there! We apologize for the confusion! Allow us to provide some clarification. At Vital Proteins, we believe protecting our planet is vital. As of December 2022, we began to remove our plastic scoops from all products. We have the belief that caring for people also means caring for their environment. Though we’re foregoing our scoop, consumers can still expect the same efficacious collagen peptides they know and love. The recommended serving is now anywhere between 2-4 leveled tablespoons.
