New packaging impossible and I think it is the reason it was full of bugs. I’ve been using this product for years and never have had problems like this.

Nice basic collagen!

I've been using the Vital Proteins collagen for about 6 months now and do see improvements in my health, but I've also made other dietary and lifestyle changes so hard to attribute the results to any one isolated product like this. I really like the cardboard canisters now, only slightly tricky to get open the first time and "loosen" the cardboard, then a very clear foil seal underneath that to unseal the product. Though I wish they were smaller canisters since the product settles and there's no need to have a gigantic container that is never even half full. I realize I purchased X ounces of product, I'm not mad at the value, I'm just annoyed I need a taller shelf to store it on. :) I use my own tablespoon scoop, easily run through the dishwasher regularly and I don't add plastic waste with a scoop with every canister. I also wish the exact types of collagen and their amounts were called out more clearly, but I suppose if we could easily compare brands then we wouldn't pay for the brand names. But overall this dissolves easily - if I put it in a dry cup and then pour coffee on top I usually don't even need to stir it in. It has no detectable flavor when mixed with my coffee and I love this unflavored version so I could add my own cocoa, cinnamon, matcha, sweetener of choice, milk, etc. as I personally prefer. But I have considered trying the sweetened and flavored single-serve sticks for travel when hotel coffee is bad. I don't need other supplements added here either since those are all available in other forms and you can dose as needed separately.

Formula has changed. Very disappointed.

I have been using the unflavored vital proteins for over 2 years. One scoop in my coffee every morning. I used to love this product until now. It is obvious the formula has changed. The powder is a bit thicker and consistency does not mix as well. There is an aftertaste whereas prior there was not. Very disappointed considering I used to love this product.

Once I finish my old container, Im very excited to try the new packaging! My family has committed to as little plastic as possible. I have been using collagen for years but this particular brand has been the best so far. Easy to add in any type of food. Dissolves well and tasteless.
