Very poor dissolving

I've been taking this since 2022...for 3 years and I am absolutely in love with the product and tell everyone about it. However, since the recent new packaging, it does not dissolve and it clumps into a very hard sticky substance to the point that it does not even come off the spoon when stirring. I had to switch to a different company, however I wish I didn't have to go that route.

Terrific product; horrible, horrible packaging

The product is terrific. The new cardboard packaging is horrific. Thank goodness I saved one of the old cannisters so now I open the cardboard monstrosity with a razorblade and pour contents into the plastic container. I can't imagine keeping the cardboard container on the counter top where it would be damaged by water, beverage mishaps, or cleaning solutions.

New Blue Tub

I take this product daily. Love it! I find it to be a great source of protein; however, the new packaging sucks! I had to use a knife, a pair of pliers, and scissors in order to FINALLY get it open. I totally understand the environmental issues with the other container; yet come on. “Pull here. Don’t twist. You got this.” Obviously, I did not get it! Thank goodness I had saved the older plastic tub :)

New packaging is not acceptable!!

I have been taking this product for almost two years, enjoying it in my coffee every morning. I plan to continue to use it forever b/c I feel it is helping my 80-y/o body. However, I just purchased a 20oz supply in the NEW packaging??? What were you thinking??? It is impossible to open it following the directions provided. I finally had to use a sharp kitchen knife to run it around the edge, risking an injury. I hate to think that I will have to stop buying this product just because of this packaging change. It's really bad....and I don't write bad reviews ever!! Please rethink this.

This initiative is one change Vital Proteins is taking toward a more sustainable future. We do not recommend using anything sharp tools to open your packaging. If you would like to use a tool to aid in breaking the perforations, we recommend that you gently use the back of a spoon or a butter knife to pre-break the perforations on the lid. Formula change with terrible tase.

I used this product for 3 years and my nails and hair look great. This last container of Unflavored tastes terrible in my coffee and the chocolate flavor made me feel bad every time it was used. I won’t buy either again.

Great product/terrible packaging

Been using this product for a few years and love it. The recent change in packaging is awful! Thankfully I kept my old container to refill! I hate the new container! I can’t even open this stupid thing! Please change this ASAP!

Good product, unusable packaging

Product is good. Seems to help my hair, nails, and joints. Not too much taste, so easily mixes into coffee or smoothies. The packaging is TERRIBLE. Recently they went to a paper tub, which is environmentally helpful. But short of attacking it with a knife, you can't get it open. Seriously, I had to take a knife, cut around the perimeter of the container, and then use needle nose pliers to pry it off the rest of the way. Luckily I kept the old container and was able to transfer the product, but please...do something. This is miserable.
