Expensive, features are too simple for price

While the kettle has a nice industrial design, the software is lacking. There is no precise temperate control (the plus/minus buttons only do time control), there's no changing temperature without rebooting the kettle, and there is only one brightness level. Thankfully, the sound can be muted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a beautifully designed tea kettle, among other duties. It works well, as expected with German manufacturing. I highly recommend this product and I hope to have it for some years. (I'm old school)

Rust on bottom of kettle

I love Kettle but Rust came on bottom of it in one use leaving little water overnight.

Rust can sometimes occur if water is left in the kettle for an extended period. To remove the rust, you can try using a mixture of vinegar and water (about 1:1 ratio/50-50), bring it to a boil, and then rinse thoroughly. We also recommend emptying the kettle after each use and drying it thoroughly. I love nearly everything about this kettle. I love the temperature controls and displays, and the fact that hot water doesn't touch plastic in this design. I'm able to brew lovely tea so easily with this kettle! The only thing I dislike is the interface sounds. The beeping is a bit irritating (this has been the case with all similar kettles I've experienced), and I just wish there were a way to turn off all sounds. The kettle beeps when it comes up to temperature, when you select the temperature, and when you take the kettle off the base. This feels unnecessary, and I'm not sure why all temperature-controlled electric kettles seem to have this feature.

Will change how you brew tea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design is very aesthetically pleasing. The preset temperatures is great. Wish I had this when I had a newborn for the bottle warming feature. It’s also great being able to steep tea directly in it and have it maintain a temperature
