This kettle is lovely but the lid is a hassle when you don’t use the tea filter. The lid keeps coming apart!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kettle is great. I like that you have preset temperatures and a temperature display. The only issue is that at high altitudes water boils at a lower temperature so the kettle will not turn off if you select the boiling point preset (212 F).

I feel like some of the instructions on how to use the keep warm function are difficult to understand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kettle is beautiful. I love that it's glass, so I can clearly see when hard water starts to build up and proactively take care of it. I also love that it's easy to clean and the lid comes off completely. My old water boiler had the hinge break, so I have been looking for one with a removable lid to avoid that problem happening again. The temperature control seems to work well and the base is beautiful. Controls are intuitive and the sounds can be muted. This is literally everything I want in a kettle! The only drawback is that the area around the heating element is starting to corrode/ rust and I've only had it a month. I feel like that's probably a normal-ish occurrence and I can just see it because the body is glass, but will be contacting CS to find out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's clear so you can see everything (the water level, whether or not it's boiling, if it's clean)
