Great coffee maker

We have now used this coffee maker for the past month or so and it works flawlessly, making a delicious and hot cup of coffee each and every time. Its slim profile fits nicely on our counter. I would highly recommend this coffee maker to anyone looking for a well crafted machine.

When the pot is removed the filter area drips onto the hot plate, I fear that the hot plate will become stained with burnt coffee.

We bought this coffee maker to go with our Zwilling coffee grinder and overall, we have enjoyed it immensely! The bloom function is a definite plus and the coffee always tastes fantastic. It makes enough for 2-3 people to enjoy 16oz+ each morning, and it's the quietest drip coffee maker we've ever had. The single dial & button was slightly confusing to figure out at first for my parents but easy once they understood each setting.
The biggest downside for us is the warming plate function cannot be extended past 30 minutes, so sometimes it's already shut off by the time other members of the household wake up. The pot lid also only opens about 45 degrees, if that, and seems a bit fragile (just plastic) where it connects to the pot and can be removed for cleaning. Besides that, we would recommend!

The brew has been good. I also like the program options. I am a bit concerned with the fragility of the carafe lid. The hinge mechanism in particular does not seem durable. It is very thin plastic that I can see breaking easily in the near future.

Our first son came and I no longer had time to make my daily pour over. At first I was sad to give up my pour over coffee but this coffee maker makes such great tasting coffee that my blues went away! The preset function is nice and the coffee maker is very easy to use.

The Zwilling brews a great cup of coffee, but it has a few quirks.
1. The control knob set up is a little tricky. RTFM a couple of times and you will get it. Once set up, it works fine.
2. The "blooming" feature is unique. It makes a great cup of coffee, just like a pour over style pot.
3. The clock is 24 hour only. It only displays when you ask to, or when programming a time brew.
4. The auto shut-off comes after 30 minutes to avoid burnt coffee. Just microwave a cup for 20-30 seconds to warm it up. It still tastes good!
Beyond the quirks, the Zwilling is a good coffee maker. Easy to clean, and the matte black looks good on my kitchen counter. Pair it with the Zwilling Coffee Grinder for an at home coffee bar experience.
