Makes great pour over coffee for a crowd

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been making single-serving pour overs for several years, but was always frustrated that my method didn’t allow me to easily make several coffees at once for guests. And having to manually pour the water over the grounds was time-consuming. This machine makes a great cup of pour over coffee (love the blooming function!) that easily serves 4-6 people in one batch, and frees me up to focus on cooking breakfast. I love it. I just wish that the marks on the water tank corresponded better to how much coffee you actually get - I’m still learning how much above the line I need to fill the tank to yield the amount of coffee I want.

Never again. It's the worst.

I have never hated a coffee maker more. We had issues with our first one not working and we were sent a replacement. We maybe got 7-8 months out of it before it started having issues. Good luck counting on coffee in the morning. I don't know if it's a sensor problem with these or a wiring issue. It often won't turn on, you can select a coffee setting (sometimes), but will it actually brew ? Flip a coin. We clean it. We bought the descale solution. Doesn't matter. We more often than not have to use the French press. For this price, I am incredibly disappointed in Zwilling. We took it the a physical store and there was nothing they could do. The clerk said hers does the same thing. Do not buy. We have reached out and got a case number ...three weeks have gone by with no response.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Coffee that’s a league above the typical machines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this coffee maker for 2 weeks and I have to say it lives up to all the reviews. Compared with the same coffee from a previous machine this machine makes a less bitter coffee. This sits alongside the press pot.
This is a 4.75 stars for me because of the auto shutoff of 30 minutes (I know why it is that short but a selection between 30-45-60 minutes would be great or a way to override the 30 minutes). The other negative is the documentation that is sparse.

Great tasting coffee, great looking coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this coffee maker for about 2 weeks and after daily brewing I'd say it makes a really good cup of coffee. Like, good drinking it black, which I hadn't really done before since my last coffee maker wasn't the best. This thing looks nice, is built really well, and the various settings and timer are really handy. Tried the bloom feature and thought it tasted about the same as not blooming but I might not have a discerning enough palate. Two downsides for me: heating pad only stays on for 30 minutes after brewing and you can't turn it on by itself (at least I haven't figured it out). Also, the valve stopper is really sticky which makes it hard to take the carafe in and out at times (sticky both due to friction of the rubbing plastic parts in the spring and also actually sticky between the valve stopper and the carafe lid from the coffee). Overall, really enjoy it especially for the price compared to other high end coffee makers.

I love this coffeemaker but it arrived with a small piece broken off the top of the carafe - its the small disc on top of the carafe top that connects with the release button of the maker, which releases the coffee into the carafe. The plastic piece that arrived broken off is one of two small pieces that holds the disc in place.I’ve been using the maker thinking it would be ok but the other day the disc was in the wrong way, and it didn’t line up with the maker with enough tension and the brewed coffee collected inside the maker, overflowing…there’s a number to call Zwilling and I’m hoping they will send a new carafe cover or carafe. Otherwise, this maker makes fantastic coffee - I have the grinder as well!

It is very easy to use and the controls are simple and intuitive. Makes a great cup of coffee. Wish it offered more control over the burner so I could keep in on longer if needed.
