Our bedroom is upstairs and the A/C does not keep it cool enough so they thought this would help especially with the 95+ days we’re having. And they were right!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second LG portable air conditioner I have purchased. My last one gave out on us after having it for 10 years. The quality is great and I am pleased that when it’s over 100 degree outside my bedroom stays around 72 degrees or cooler. I had purchased another brand and it doesn’t compare to LG to the point I had to return the other brand. Super easy hook up. Everything you need to set it up through the window. I want to say it took me 5-10 minutes to set everything up. Love the wifi option. My kids can use Alexa to turn it on and off without searching for the remote. Which I love that it comes with a remote holder and I am able to put it on the wall for easy control.

I loved this ac for the first couple weeks. It now will make a very loud noise while in use, sounds like a plastic bag flapping around. This noise it so loud it wakes me up and I am unable to use this product. I am unsure if it is able to be fixed or replaced
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We were lucky to find this a few weeks ago in the middle of a heat wave. The unit has performed well above my expectations and, it would appear, the LG room size specs for cooling. We use it in the living room during the day and bedroom while sleeping. Moving the unit, hose and window attachment is very easy and can be done in minutes. Not having to empty the unit or attaching a drain hose while in AC mode is a plus. We really thought we would need a window unit to cool our living room but found this unit works great in bringing the temp down to a comfortable level and keeping it there. The features are easy to understand and use. So glad we made this purchase.

I bought this a month ago, and I dont feel it works very well. The AC is supposed to cool a room upto 450 sq feet. The room im cooling is about 350 sq feet and it is not doing much.
