[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is AWESOME! With the heat dome that covered Oregon in early June we had temps of 119. I knew I had to get some sort of cooling method in place for my house and bought this. It says it does 500 sq. feet and my house is about 1400 and it keeps the whole place very pleasant with temps in the low 70's when it is triple digit outside. I highly recommend EVERYone buy one if you don't have air conditioning. Global Warming requires we keep a cool house. You won't be sorry if you buy this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked quite well for the first year and a half, but despite changing and cleaning the filter every time the light turns on dust and grime build up on the coils WAY too easily. It is near impossible to clean the coils.
In trying to get it serviced I have not received help outside of the warranty period. The sole technician on the website does not service up near me per their website.
Very disappointing to purchase an appliance and have its performative capabilities limited to 1.5 years.

Not for high humidity

Doesn’t work very well when it’s high humidity. You lose something with the one tube exhaust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have given this air conditioner five stars as it does the job of cooling a small room very well but it has become very noisy in high speed mode over the last year. The unit has been used a total of six months over the last two summers, three months each year. The filter screens are cleaned at the end of each summer. As an electro-mechanical engineer, I was curious about the source of the noise and to see if I could make the cooler run quieter. After finding the source of the noise, which is the fan assembly, I found out that the bearings on either side of the fan blower wheel are not the greatest and do not hold the blower wheel securely enough. This allows the blower wheel to move axially and vertically, causing excess noise. Not an easy fix. If you don't mind a little extra noise, this is a great cooler.
