This product must've been defected on purchase. The heater produces cold air even on the highest settings. I will be exchanging or requesting that it is repaired.

I used this heater maybe 5 times and now on the coldest night when all the stores are closed it died. Just like everyone else the light turns on but nothing else happens. I've tried everything. I have a cheast cold and want to warm up. This will be the last time I buy a vornado. What a waste of money.

Whomever said this was a whole room heater needs a refresher course in public relations. After following the directions and setting it on high and glancing at my thermometer from time to time it only heated the room to 65 degrees. I live in a 40' 5th wheel and the living room where this god awful heater is being used to heat 100 square feet couldn't get past 65 degrees is a total disgrace. When I awoke this morning I was floored to see the thermometer registering only 56 degrees with outdoor temp of 41 degrees. I would return this unit in a heartbeat if I hadn't chucked the packaging based on the wonderful reviews of this unit and feeling the packaging wouldn't be needed.

Too easy to leave "on"

I use it under a desk to keep my feet warm in a cold room. Sometimes I am surprised to re-enter the room and find that it's ON. It would be better if something stayed ON to remind the user to turn it OFF when leaving the room.
Pros: Works ok
Cons: Onoff Problem

I bought this space heater after moving to an apartment that was 1 bedroom from a studio. I used my Vornado as my primary source of heat the entire winter in Upstate, NY. In my studio I paid over $600 for the winter and at the 1 bedroom place i spent $150. Not only did the Vornado save me a good deal of money but it also does an amazing job at keeping 1 room warm. I think we will be purchasing another and have recommended this to everyone i have met

First off, I have owned several Vornados over the years. Never had a problem. I just picked up this pvh style heater. It has a motor problem. I believe it could be a short. It draws WAY TOO MUCH current. It literally pulls the lights down in the house. The motor speed oscillates up and down constantly. Something is very wrong. WIll return it. Hopefully this was just a unit that QC overlooked.

I have had this heater for two years. I recently purchased R-Series - Vornado® VH103 Heater, which I consider to be inferior to this model. I use mine in a 12X16' room, and it keeps it toasty. The VH103 cost considerablle more, but in myy opinion, isn't up to par with the PVH.
