Give it a hand

On the one hand, when it works it's great. On the other hand, I've had several and they all quit working. On the other hand, they all quit working within the warranty period. On the other hand, Vornado and the delightful Brianne replaced them all without complaint for free. On the other hand, even though they're free who wants to keep replacing their heater every year? On the other hand, Brianne, with no prompting from me, offered to upgrade me at no cost to the VH2. By now I'm a little shorthanded but the bottom line is; an unreliable heater but an extremely reliable company that goes out of its way to keep its customers happy. And we have had a couple of VH2 types previously that are still plugging along so perhaps Brianne and I won't be seeing so much of each other. :)

I bought it last year and used it one time and I went to use it last night when the temperature got down in the 30's and it won't turn on. I have tried everything the manual said to do, but nothing happens. I am very disappointed. I had a Vornado that my mother gave me 12 years ago and that one still works, so I am shocked that the newer model is so deficient.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this unit and used it for a few weeks. It just stopped working. Emailed the support staff. They got back with me in just a few days. Requested pictures and unit number. 3 days latter got new unit in mail. I bought this unit because it had a 5 year warranty. Did not think I would need it but 5 years said quality to me. Other heaters my have 1 year warranty and last about that long. Great unit heats well and am grateful for the long warranty. Will Likely buy another one soon.

I bought this unit last year and it has heated my front living room quite nicely. It does operate quietly and gets to a warm temperature in short amount of time. I can count on this to keep the room at a great comfortable temperature. Although I have to say, I was disappointed when it stopped working recently. It wasn't loud and didn't even notice it had shut off. I read the reviews and called customer service. They were really great at getting me a new working product. They even are sending me one model newer than the one I had. Thanks so much

I have to hand it to Vornado. I bought this unit and was disappointed with it. I wrote a review to that effect, and they got back to me quickly with an apology and offer to have it sent back. They are also going to replace the unit and will check on my satisfaction once I have that one. I have always had faith in Vornado due to the many things of theirs' that I have purchased. They have certainly restored that faith. I will remain a faithful customer of Vornado.

THIS PRODUCT REALLY PROVES IN PERFORMANCE AND WHISPER QUIET OPERATION. I LIVE IN A 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT WITH COMMERCIAL SIZE AC/HEAT UNITS THAT COST AN ARM AND A LEG TO RUN WHEN EVER NEEDED. I've had my PVH for over four months now, and have not had a single problem with it. I use it in place of the aging built-in heating unit (both noisy and expensive to operate) in my condo. Since getting the PVH my electric bills have gone down, and I have the joy of nearly silent operation. I also have a Vornado Circulator that I use in the summertime in place of air-conditioning. It also cuts down on the bills and is much quieter, as well. Love Vornado products!!
