I bought this product as I saw it being advertised at a good discounted price and am quite happy with it. Only fly in the ointment is the lack of backlighting of the keyboard which makes it less user friendly in low light conditions but other than that I am delighted with the functionality.

I have had this laptop now for two months and generally speaking I am quite pleased with it. My biggest criticism is the battery life. I only use the laptop for 2-3 hors/day and no matter how I set the power use, I find myself charging the battery on a daily basis.

Laptop is good in many ways but the fatal flaw for me is. The cooling fan exhaust vent is underneath the laptop, so using it on your knee becomes really uncomfortable due to the heat generated. This is so annoying and prevents the convienient use for anything over 5 mins. I have considered returning it because of this issue. My previous HP laptop vented from the side so wasn't an issue, retrograde step by HP in my opinion.

I bought this for home study, internet browsing and playing media. It loads up quickly and does everything efficiently. The screen is clear and the laptop is considerably smaller than my last although the screen is the same size. Nice neat machine with a positive keyboard.

The keyboard has no lights in it. If I want to work at night without disturbing anyone else in the room I can't see the keys in dark. I can't type without seeing the keyboard. Otherwise laptop is excellent,slim and fast . You should mention every small details. I wish I could return this laptop please let me know if I can.
