I purchased this mattress because my boyfriend owns it and I always get the best sleep at his house. Now that I have this mattress at home, I can also sleep really well at home. This was one of the best choices I’ve made in a while… Totally worth it!

The original is not the original. It is way too soft. Disappointed. The original from a year ago was perfect. This one sucks.

The mattress is fine. It's comfortable and supportive. I personally would prefer it to be a bit firmer. I would rate it on the plush side of firm. I do wake up feeling I got a good nights rest.

5 stars for amazing customer service even though the bed didn’t work out for us. My husband and I thought the bed was too firm and when we contacted Tuft and Needle to return within their 100 day sleep trial, Brittany, the representative, offered us a free mattress topper that was also returnable if we didn’t like it. We ultimately declined and Brittany sent us a list of charities we could donate the bed to in our area. None of the charities took used mattresses so Tuft and Needle said we could give it for free to the public. Tuft and Needle are very responsive and customer friendly.

We bought T&F King and Queen mattresses in the past and loved them so bought this Twin one for our child. It feels like the quality has gone down in the past couple years because the Twin mattress doesn't feel as great/firm as the King/Queen does.

You're correct, as of 2018 we made a change to our Original Mattress removing half of an inch of the base foam which made it a touch softer and took some of the height off. That said, you don't have to feel stuck with something you don't love. It’s a great medium firm mattress that absorbs the weight transfer when I or my partner get out of bed early. I barely feel a thing. We are both side sleepers and found the edges sturdy.

I’ve been hunting for the perfect mattress and this is definitely the most comfortable one I’ve slept on. I just wish it didn’t smell so strongly of chemicals. It’s still off gassing 2.5 weeks after I opened the package. It doesn’t feel good to breathe that in all night long.
