If a sheet of plywood is a 10, I'd consider this mattress a 7.5. Needs a pillow top.

We did update the feel of the T&N Original in late 2015 to make it a bit softer based on customer feedback. I love this bed! So comfortable! Provides the perfect amount of support for me. I have chronic back pain and am a side sleeper. I had been sleeping poorly for months on a soft mattress. Since switching to Tuft & Needle, I am sleeping well again!
