I received the mattress in perfect condition, followed the instructions and was positively surprised that no chemical smell was release (I still let it air for 8 hrs though).
The firmness level is what I was looking for, quite firm, but not a block of granite. If you are looking for something plushy and where you sink in, check the other models, this one is not for you. Needless to say, being “adaptive foam” the feeling is different than a coil & hybrid mattress (I have no experience with memory foam, so I cannot comment on that.) How is the mattress doing? 40 days in and there is no sagging. I know, 40 days is very little, but for my previous mattress 14 days were more than enough to sag- for reference I was 140 lbs for 5 11.
The reason of my 3 stars is because the mattress retains body heat and It makes me sweat at night (I live up north, not in a warm climate) and it can get uncomfortable to wake up with a sticky tank top - for me, at least. Another downside (that’s very personal) is that It still gives me lower back pain, but I am adjusting (hopefully) slowly. Last observation: maybe it’s just an impression, but somehow this mattress (bought in September 2021) feels like a different model than the one I slept on back in 2014-16.

Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our product team designed our Adaptive Foam to sleep as cool as possible, so we’re sorry to hear this hasn’t been your experience. It’s worth mentioning that certain accessories, such as high-thread-count sheets or some mattress protectors, can play a role in heat retention.
